Snow, I agree with you that it's peanuts compared to all the U.K., but I believe the question is, just how much will we expand into the U.S.
I believe the U.S. market makes the U.K. look like peanuts by comparison, and I believe we're setting up many distributorships that are selling into that market. I frankly cannot say if the company itself has sold even one single hospital on acquiring the system, all I've read about came through the distributors. We really don't know how much our distributors make in every such placement, and how much to the company, but I believe the earnings are substantial for both.
As PCTL grows, I suspect that we'll have distributors in essentially all major population centers, though all may not be Level 3. Many Level 3's may have more than a single HOCL generator, we know D.E. has told us his facility is designed to add a couple more.
I believe when Gary spoke of 2 to 3 installations a month through the end of the year, on average, he was speaking of hospitals inside the U.S. That will probably mean about 15 additional hospitals this year. I would hope that next year the number of U.S. hospitals would grow by 50 or more, just over 4 a month. If it does, I suspect the demand will grow so much that we'll be looking at 100 or more in 2022. Before you know it, we have more in U.S. hospitals than in all of the U.K., and we're still growing annually.
