No, of course he wouldn't. He might not have access to as much information as he does now, but he could get a lot from other sources.
And I'm sure he'd step up his TV appearances. That's probably why Trumpty hasn't fired him. As long as he works for the White House task force, they can refuse to give him permission to speak.
