Was there any verifiable proof other than internet 3rd parties that this company actually had physical property, equipment and did indeed drill in reality.
ZN drilled. Complete with contracts for the rig&crew. They milked the hell out of the dry hole. Featuring well stimulation: Pump in fluids under pressure, and surprise they got 110 barrels of fluid per day back out. Then they measured a teaspoon of oil in the mud/fluids. Or at least something with a high API they made out was light oil. In this area of Israel "Oil Shale " deposits (not to be confused with "Shale Oil") is found. Where Oil Shale contains Kerogen, precursor to oil, that didn't get heated up enough to turn into oil. Kerogen also has a very high API. Then before drilling to China they stopped. Made a claim they thought they had encountered an active petroleum system. Who cares about definitions. Then they plugged the well. Only took a yr to complete the dry hole.
