Agree 100%. Our son was probably one of the last in his peer group to get a phone. The argument was but Dad all my friends have phones.
My argument was they are not my kids.
We gave him a phone when he agreed to keep his grades up over a B, we had all the passwords and he friended us on FB so we could read his posts. And as I warned him don't post anything on social media you wouldn't want your mom to read.
