I did not miss your point. Sub group analysis is not part of the trial protocol.
The patients are not selected by any specific criteria and primary and secondary outcomes are not being evaluated with sub-group.
So the success and failure of the trial is based on full group so not precision.
They can do sub-group analysis to see if drug can be effective but that will be post facto - after thought and by that time the SP would have ranked (check ZYNE)
