Agreed. Uber eats will still use a courier for the last mile delivery while Deuce is using a drone for the last mile delivery. Deuce is also integrating software with their customer base vs picking things up once the order is ready to ship. I think they are doing exactly what a smaller player in the market would do and should do which is get into the specifics of what a customer needs and integrate early in the ordering process to be seamless.

The whole point is, that Uber Eats could if they chose to, wait in the parking lot.

... if it was a real advantage, which is still questionable.

Drones are quick, and that may somewhat negate the advantage of sitting at individual sites, when they can stage and be there within a minute or two of being summoned. ... in less time than it takes to prepare the food.

... but the whole point is, Uber Eats and others can do, and in some respects are already doing, what Deuce hopes to do.

There is no moat, heck, I can pick up the Zing kit and deliver.

... and companies like Uber Eats can deliver to everyone, not just those accessible by drone.

The reason Uber Eats doesnt presently sit in Buffalo Wings parking lot is that it makes little sense economically to do so.

"Uber eats doesn't wait in the Buffalo Wild Wings parking lot for their next order. Neither will Uber eats drones."
