We've already proved we're too selfish and stupid to protect ourselves from spreading the virus - states that didn't close down golf courses and beaches until we were months into the pandemic, kids gathering to play b-ball, which forced officials to take down hoops everywhere, and now the craziness of youngsters crowding bars and clubs. In Sunday's paper there was a pic taken inside a pub at the local bar district, nobody was wearing a mask, and although tables had 6-8 ft between them people coming into the bar were walking right past them a foot or so away. The bartender and servers were wearing masks, but just to try to protect themselves - they will always be way outnumbered by maskless customers.
