Rather than “laziness,” I think aggressive selling just isn’t part of his persona. He’s a very smart guy, but I don't get the sense that he’s much of a people person. Even his conference calls are flat. Whatever emotion or exuberance he tries to project seems forced and unnatural. He really needs to find someone who’s high energy to take the reins on the sales side. I’ll still disagree with your premise that local agencies have money to burn without federal grant assistance or contributions, but I think you’re right about the lack of a really motivated and driven sales group. Bob has teased us with “acquisitions” repeatedly with no action and treats us to deafening silence. The lack of forecasting has become inexcusable. At this point, I’d probably be happy to just get even and move on. I’ve had high hopes for this stock for almost two decades and it’s gone nowhere.
