I agree with this pandemic Countries need to start supporting each other and make reasonable deals to get this economy back together. Altho this little piggie made a nice move on good vol Friday, looking for .50 ;)

Have to disagree there Sukus.
It's true that countries like Brazil and Russia are now experiencing their first wave.
But pick any European country you like. Steady and persistent decline in deaths for at least the last month. Countries that have re-opened schools, workplaces etc, haven't seen a noticeable second wave.
Countries that had strict lockdowns may have a small second wave of cases, but those who were more relaxed won't.
Collective acquired immunity is now calculated to be reached after only 20% case rate.
This is because most with innate immunity (kids, and most healthy adults weren't susceptible in the first place.
Many European countries are already virtually there.
London's new cases and deaths have slowed to a trickle.
Continuing lockdowns simply prolong the agony, weaken immune systems and decimate economies into the bargain.

I'll stick my neck out and say a 'cure' will be unnecessary.

Agreed on the 2nd wave and international cooperation on a friendly basis, so long as the results are properly all shared.

2nd wave could be worse than the 1st and unlike people who disagreed, no, the natural immunity” play has not worked out, but some countries do work from a position of less density of people, and less density of people is an incredibly important factor. But even so, despite that, many places have been badly affected and the disease will continue to spread and be worst for countries and areas of countries that do not have the medical infrastructure to address any sudden waves.

I believe you're very right, and as I understand it, even Sweden, who didn't isolate, is only up to 7% community spread, that's not going to prevent it from getting worse. I do believe a therapeutic may prove to be a game changer, and I have some PSTI and believe their PLX-PAD could be it.

The fear would go away if people knew that if they get it, and they reach the stage where the get pneumonia, they'll receive the injections and the likelihood of a cure is over 95%. It was actually about 80% in the first 8 ventilator patients that received the drug, but I believe it will be much better when given before a ventilator is ever required.

If I'm right, and we should know by August, I would suspect that they'll be able to dose all ventilator patients within months, and less severe patient by roughly November. Then if we do get a vaccine by next year, the fear will be completely removed, and life can return to normal. If I'm wrong about the therapeutic, we'll wait for the vaccine to seriously get back to normal, and hopefully it will be available early next year, but it certainly could be longer.
