I'm sure the list is endless of brands I grew up with that I still buy.
I'm completely different. There're only a few brands I grew up with that I still buy. I get what I think is best, or if they all seem pretty much the same to me, whatever's on sale.
I do insist on Glad Clingwrap, even though it's not the cheapest. I find most cling wrap sticks to itself annoyingly. Glad doesn't. Glad Press 'n' Seal is also a good product, but if there's any competition in that category, I've never seen it.
I do still buy Heinz ketchup, because I've never found anything better. And until recently, I bought Hellman's mayo (though in Italy I preferred Kraft), because it seemed to be best for sandwiches. But I've recently discovered the Whole Foods brand, which is very smooth, and doesn't contain any sugar. I think it must be very similar to Duke's, which I've never seen in any store around here.
