I read the article just like you described. I see nothing wrong with how Florida handled the situation.

If NY was handled in the same manor, DeBlasio would have locked down West Chester on March 17th as he wanted only to be overruled by Cuomo. Instead Cuomo locked the whole state down weeks later including Counties that have one or two cases.

I think what Florida did was the most logical, and I don't think Political Affiliation has anything to do with it.

Newsom's done a fantastic job in Cal.
