#281857 RE: Jasbg #270765

Ran across the approach "holistic" when surfing this morning. Not sure how or where I ran across the term again, but of course it made me think of JT using the word, so I googled looking for meaning. Ran across jasbg post from May in my search for source of JTs words, so I'm responding to his post if anyone else is looking for when/how he used it. I know I was confused by the new use of this word, as well as a lot of others at the time. Like "6 Sigma" (big with some companies I've noticed asking if "6-sig" certified? Think this originated with Toyota manufacturing and everybody jumped on board), etc. perhaps it is a new "management tool" in use. Of course I still feel as though I am investigating "vagueness" from management and JT. Just throwing this out there. Still trying to look out towards horizon with this company. Hard to do that with what we are given from management and our current state of matters going on.
I found below:

With EU approval in the pipeline tentatively towards end of year, let's hope JT is working like mad on "increasing shareholder value" with this approach. Not sure if it means wanting to expand on their own, or if it's just an ideological way to view a company's future value. I know they have heard rumblings of partner in EU or just outright sell the company. Share price is NOT reflecting EU and ROW value at this point. Only thing it is valuing currently is <negative> US value in face of patent ruling and cash on hand.

We are in "Stand-by" mode for the summer IMO. Sideways for a while
unfortunately. JMO.

Edit: Here is the link I ran across. Analyst talking about AMZN (wished I had put all my past orders in with error of one letter. Letter "Z" would have served me better! HaHa!)

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/21/analysts-are-betting-on.html

Here's how it was used below from the article:

According to Martin, the best way to value Amazon is holistically, as an ecosystem- which suggests AMZN is worth approximately $4,500/share. “We estimate that adding media assets such as Video, Twitch, Music, etc and groceries to the Prime bundle lowers churn, keeps users in the AMZN ecosystem for an extra 3 years, and increases the lifetime value by $3,437 per user” the analyst writes.
