Conversationally speaking, Gilead's remdecivir was barely at 2% "better" result & wasn't even STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT! Didn't stop the U.S. from designating it "best treatment practice" essentially making it their NEW protocol. Shooting Gilead up ~$16B by some estimates, probably more!
Although I wouldn't expect the same exact response, the bar isn't exactly set very high atm. This licenses drug could actually prove FAR BETTER than remdecivir, then what?
Maybe we should hedge with a SHORT of Gilead...
