I don't understand why people trade the shares. At the time the shares were ticking at $43.75, this Friday's 143 call was ticking at $5. Why not just sell the call instead of the shares? That would be the equivalent of selling at $48.75. Or if the stock goes back down, you just keep the $500.

but it went up a tad over $147. Look at all that money you left out there. More importantly, did you buy puts?
