No argument there. My concern is that any military unit where
personnel are in close quarters are at risk. The most obvious
example would be the sailors aboard the aircraft carrier where
the virus decimated the crew. There may be many other military
units that are also afflicted, such as submarines, but the military
may keep such information classified and out of public view. My
point is that many of these military people, just like hospital
workers, and first responders may have residual inflammatory
damage from being infected. AMRN management should reach out
to people in charge and let them know that Vascepa is available
as an FDA approved treatment for CVD...and may be useful in treating
these people who have been exposed. The military medical command
structure might be able to make Vascepa available to through
its command authority. This might save the health and lives
of some of the people affected. Why not? Better than doing
nothing. Hopefully, John Thero and Dr. Bhatt are doing this.
If they do not even try, then there is something seriously
wrong with them. (In my own opinion.)
