And that means? There were no "states" involved. COR sued in federal district court.

What happened was that the lower court dismissed COR's allegations against Signature Stock Transfer, ETrade, Fidelity, TD Ameritrade, and Scottrade. The Eighth Circuit affirmed the lower court's decision.

COR's request for a default judgment against Calissio had been granted two years earlier, on 21 April 2016. See the document I referenced last night. "Adam Carter" was never served because no one had any idea where he was. Or who he was.
