The hospital capacity in CA hasn't been stressed or even close to that even in "hot spots" like SF. Confirmed infection rate in my county is < 0.1% with people still roaming around (mostly exercising or the young hanging out). Average age of those dying > 70. IMO elective procedures roar back for the active crowd < 70. Those afraid of catching Covid and satisfied with reduced QoL will live with disability and continue path towards worse health - or not?
