Okay, let us follow your thought process:

1) Amrn (aka POSA) saw Kura and got the idea (only sort of, because it was epa + e, not epa alone)
2) then did marine with 2g epa, no apoB reduction! (Right here Kura conclusuon if any of epa on apoB is gone and it proves apoB reduction was from e not epa, when epa < 2g)
3) 4g epa on apoB was unexpected

I know this is not black and white, but she was not black or white (aka clear and convincing) first place, and she should. That is all, not to argue with you btw.
