I've learned a lot from him on trading, just as I learned from you on technicals. Indeed, we should always look for mentors that are better. There are always things to learn. And then there are things we could learn, but they may not prove to be a value add or might just cloud our brain so we can't focus. Being over-informed can be just as unproductive as under-informed.
Perhaps the best advice you've given here.....learn one market behavior and you can make money, or something to that effect. Keep it simple. But sometimes keeping it simple gets complex.
