The subcontractor can then use the form to prepare his taxes. Since a subcontractor is not an employee, the business will not withhold any taxes from the subcontractor's compensation, and the 1099 will only list the total compensation received by the subcontractor during the tax year.

You have to be shitting me that you thought your earnings were a free lunch.

Do you not understand the law?

I removed the ban. My suggestion is to read the Ibox and post something intelligent.

I have refuted about 5 or 6 of your posts today including the latest regarding 1099 contractors which someone else also confirmed.

The lack of response says it all.
