Axel: I didn't see any kind of radiating fins on the Strat2. My system incorporated utilization of superheat. Anytime you can get something for free, you use it. Heat is no exception. It is energy.

The only reason he may have wanted to radiate heat is because the Strat2 operates on a thin performance line and has no volume with which to contain helium if it expands. At night, the Strat will lose altitude due to the helium condensing from extreme cold. When that happens, lift is lost as well as altitude.

If the Strat2 can only go to 40,000, why does he want to vent heat? That doesn't make sense to me.

If there is a source of energy up there, you take advantage of it.
