I agree 8 pack is most like a Z pac...Azithromycin

Azithromycin and hydroxychloroquine are both oral medications which would make ingestion more difficult in patient with nausea and vomiting. In critically ill or ventilator patients it would require an NG tube for ingestion.

Both have been associated with a prolonged qt interval on EKG which has been associated with Ventricular arrhythmias, a potentially fatal heart arrhythmia.

IMO the potential drug interaction would make it less likely this combination would make the final cut for widespread use with Covid 19 {and it increases the chance Brilacidin} would be chosen as a second drug}

Azithromycin disease interactions

interactions with azithromycin which include:

QT prolongation

Hydroxychloroquine, also has been rarely associated with QT prolongation

“ IMO Doubt anyone will be without it if they need it.”

People who need it are already without it because it is being promoted as a possible treatment. People are buying up supples the same way they are buying up toilet paper and hand sanitizer, but with less reliable evidence of the need. Meanwhile, those dependent on the drugs are already going without.
