Azithromycin and hydroxychloroquine are both oral medications which would make ingestion more difficult in patient with nausea and vomiting. In critically ill or ventilator patients it would require an NG tube for ingestion.
Both have been associated with a prolonged qt interval on EKG which has been associated with Ventricular arrhythmias, a potentially fatal heart arrhythmia.
IMO the potential drug interaction would make it less likely this combination would make the final cut for widespread use with Covid 19 {and it increases the chance Brilacidin} would be chosen as a second drug}
