think not only of pancreatic cancer but of diabetes and other cancers...get the picture?
Nope. I don't get that picture. Diabetes may be an afterthought. University of Pittsburg and Genprex. Reprogramming of pancreatic cells to produce insulin in not just type 1 but type 2 diabetics. That will pretty much cancel out Altucell and companies like PMCB. And more than likely they could only treat insulin dependent type 2s.
As for cancers there will be no need for chemo. That is stone age stuff as is radiation. Immunotherapy will be the next coming with vaccines that will trigger the body's defenses into killing cancer cells.
Other pathway inhibitors are also being developed. CiaB is so over. Big pharma doesn't even consider anything like this because big pharma is so far ahead of the game. Uncle Kenny's CiaB would have been something maybe eight years ago. Time has erased much of the hype. They could never get back to testing patients with no other option by maybe a CiaB treatment. No data, no proof, no ascites, not much of anything except a "study" done about 10 years ago.
The money is not spent on R&D. It goes for other things. Share count goes up and up.
