Day Glo paint was still in the future. Kesey & the Pranksters just used bold primary colors.

Also, there are no peace signs. Too early for that. Kesey saw himself as a bridge between the Beat generation and the Hippies.

They styled a turret from inside to the roof with a washing machine drum.

Dropped a LOT of acid (it wasn't illegal then).
