RDS and LNG - There will be even more going to Asia... KMI has a 20-30 year take-or-pay contract with RDS to supply LNG to RDS at Elba Island. There are a total of ten trains being built to liquify the gas, with two recently built and in production, the rest will be completed this year.

In the scheme of things I understand this isn’t really that big of a plant. Medium sized.

Wasn’t too long ago that the Ruskies put the screws to everyone restricting the availability of natty gas. Not any more..

NG/LNG prices - "poetic justice" article below. low LNG prices impact the newest projects in the US more than established projects since the latter have prices set according to oil prices over a long period of time. There must be tables in their (cvx, rds) annual reports about the contract volumes, prices and timing.

ps Jet propulsion scientist at Caltech studying ocean circulation says Arctic fresh water melt could be in process (years) of slowing/reversing clockwise circulation in Atlantic and that will cause northern EU temps to drop a lot.

The main price gauge for liquefied natural gas, or LNG, in Asia fell to $3 per million British thermal units Thursday,

I'm guessing that's under cost. Ugh
