Exactly. That's the whole concept of 'investment"banking. The lenders will lend money, but they want a piece of the equity and a seat on the board.

Thanks lard, I either wasn’t clear enough, or you misunderstood me slightly, they are not the lender or Bank, but they have a lot of connections to high dollar backing themselves.
As far as what I have read about their/ Techmet’s corporate strategy, it is to focus on purchasing or strategic control of critical minerals / mines through full or partial ownership, in their attempt to circumvent China’s control over technology metals.

I believe they are not drooling to lend NioCorp money, but they do have sparkles in their eyes when they look at the suite of critical minerals NioCorp has and how it would fit in with their corporate strategy.

I actually would like to see them as a major owner of NioCorp shares, And I also would like to see NioCorp as an owner of TechMet shares.

How all that could play out is over my head, if it even can be possible.
This I mentioned in a message yesterday, but I have no idea if it is a possibility.

It’s kind of a “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” scenario
