i dont mind the end of a lake forest type manufacturing model for lqmt i think its much better to outsource it to others and let them have the burden of all the associated costs involved with contract manufacturing and we still have china based manufacturing partner yihao buying 90+ machines and soon perhaps a european based manufacture. no need for lqmt to outlay capital needed to be a manufacturer.
That's why they released news AFTER Hours at 5:02pm.
It's not a major deal they announced, but a partnership with another company like themselves that is struggling to find clients. LQMT has reduced it's overhead by moving under their roof.
That's it... still no major contracts to make millions... After 10 friggin years, still NADA!!!!
It’s funny bc even in the pr management acknowledges the trade war being an issue, this was probably originally set to happen in 2018, when materion initiated a partnership with eutectix, machines/IP TW implications held this back imo...
I think LF was the original target for manufacturing but will have to wait until things begin moving again, LF could be strictly for medical?!?
