The run for the White House starts too damn early. By the time the actual primary voting starts, people are tired of looking and listening to them. Now we have the primaries and caucuses starting but it is still 9 months until the election.

Sometime around mid April we need a fresh face to jump in! Al Franken anyone?

This voting reform solves 2 of America’s biggest political problems

It actually works more toward catering to every voter's preference than simple first
past the post. Notice below, still i huge plus i think, no voting machines in Australia.

You can vote for your state or territory’s senators in one of two ways:

Above the line: Simply put a 1 in the box of the party you support, and that party will decide all your other preference votes for you.

Below the line: Number all the candidates in order (as with your vote for the House of Representatives). You must put a number in every box, or your vote will not be counted.
