MP, I never claimed it was perfect. Just one of his better performances and that I liked it. I never defended him as a speaker nor did I bash him( at least not recently). I’m not in a position to judge how good of a CEO he is but the vast amount of evidence says he’s great and that’s what I base my opinion on to this point. Only time will truly tell. My opinions about his presentations have been shared here in the past and I’ve shared my honest, personal constructive criticism with IR. I think it was a good presentation by our spokesperson and I like the progress he’s made in this area. IMO
This board has a tendency to seek out and make up explanation for each day's market moves including blaming JT or some hit piece when if fact the market moves have escaped easy attribution. What was the reason for this afternoon swoon? If JT said anything today he would have been blamed.
I have tremendous respect and appreciation for the expertise and information board members have but collectively we have done a terrible job of predicting the market moves. In some ways we might be seeing the future way ahead of the market. Many of us were in early and hurt by this early on when we had confidence in Vascepa but were years too early in terms of optimal investment performance. We seem to remain way ahead of both the analysts and the market and we may or may not be right in the longer run this time.
