The thing about Sun and solaris is that Sun supports Solaris. Support is where it's at. Who supports linux, better and more visibly than anyone else? Big Blue, of course :-) So, if Sun dies, and people want to stay on a very well supported *n*x OS, wouldn't it make sense that IBM would be the beneficiary?
