The thing about Sun and solaris is that Sun supports Solaris. Support is where it's at. Who supports linux, better and more visibly than anyone else? Big Blue, of course
So, if Sun dies, and people want to stay on a very well supported *n*x OS, wouldn't it make sense that IBM would be the beneficiary?
