i...QUOTE "As an investor I want JT to maximise profits."

I believe capitalism has to have a heart...especially in the area of medical care...If we want to spread Vascepa all over the world...it has to be affordable for the masses of people, who will benefit from it...JT is correct in wanting Vascepa to be a volume play...IMO this strategy will kick in as soon as Amarin can post positive earnings....The reason for the increases in price is to attain that goal after years of losses with an $800 million loss carry forward.

Irish, Absolutely agree, priority is the company and shareholders, maximizing monetary return based on what the market will bear.

Im not sure how any investors could say anything contrary to this. I want JT to double the price. It will make the drug far more affordable to me because I will be rolling in cash as a result of the increase and my investment. Funny thing is that there is no virtuous purpose to running AMRN. It is a business, period. Its primary function is to generate revenue for its shareholders through its investment vehicle; in this case, Vascepa.

I would be pounding at their door if they kept prices down because some people couldn’t afford it.

Growing pains... insurance will ultimately cover it like it does statins (though they are cheap)
