RAF, I agree there is no excuse for a specialist not to know what the current SOC is in their respective field nor should they be ignorant to Vascepa and the ReduceIt CVOT results a year and a half after the release and the expanded label for the only proven add on to statins for CVD risk reduction. It’s mind boggling that some of the specialist still prescribe Lovaza, Niacin, DS fish oil and other unproven and ineffective crap. Just mind boggling!!
