Good point!

I'v been on V since 2012. I lost my job in 2016 and then I have to pay over $300 per month for V due to my high deductible insurance plan since I'm self-employed. I think it is the best money spent for my health!

Some will not see it that way afford.

Unfortunately, some will figure that $300 buys a lot of Big Mac's.

A personal anecdote...I have an HSA plan through my employer which requires me to pay full cost of prescriptions until my deductible is cleared...unless the medication is on their preventative list. Vascepa was added to that list at some point beginning in October. I will still be able to pay $3 a month after coverage and coupon even before I meet the deductible.

Hopefully this will spread to other plans.
