OK Afford if we try real hard to look with "open eyes" and past our unwavering belief in the science what are you asking us to see? What are the facts we know? Unblinded data looks good, no better than just good, really really good. Long tail looks really really good and even better (fantastic) when subgroups are taken into consideration. It is not just Dr Ashcan or Dr Liau's famous lines we are hanging on. It is the still blinded data. We are all getting frustrated the SAP is taking so long and struggling with trying to really understand why but when you see them bringing Dr Kevin Duffy in to help and given his background it appears they are doing the right things to help guarantee a good outcome . . . so trying to look at this as unbiasedly as is possible for a biased long it still look very promising to me IMHO

Afford, help me to understand what you want longs to do?

Many have significant dollars invested. Most have averaged-down considerably since the 2015 - 2016 pps fall. We've seen the blended data released in 20017 and 2018 via LL's presentation. We know that some patients were likely placed in the treatment group INSTEAD of the placebo group. We listened to the positive statements of LL and Ashkan (trial investigators and doctors who actually treat patients). We know also about the intentionally vague (or deceptively worded) PRs and other statements, lack of follow-through on provided timelines (with no explanation at all when they fall through). Our eyes are not closed. We are aware of your concerns and many of us are, likewise, concerned about them. Do you think longs were not disappointed at ASCO?

We look at the NWBO poor communications and to a lesser extent (what appears now to be) poor management decisions as well as the science, the story the blended data tells, the opinions of investigators LL and Ashkan, the fact that our manufacturing partners, cognate and others, are likely good to go. In comprehensively looking at all of the information, one could conclude that NWBO is a likely bust and divest and move on. But, CLEARLY, even you have to admit that it is reasonable to conclude, based on blended data and the opinions of trial investigators and 69+ authors of the 2017 interim data article, that DCVax-L is likely to be efficacious and hold on for the next month or two and re-evaluate, if necessary.

Now, with all of your posts about negative aspects of LP/NWBO management (I am in agreement with some), you are doing the same thing all longs are doing: HOLDING YOUR INVESTMENT AND WAITING FOR NEWS. The only difference between you and other longs is that you consistently emphasize the negative in your post..WHICH HAS ABSOLUTELY NO IMPACT AT ALL ON RESOLVING YOUR CONCERNS (though it may be cathartic). The best that we can do is Vote against NWBO's proxies, write the company about our concerns and either wait for news or divest and move on.

Despite your negative posting, you are handling the investment the same as we are...which is the most prudent thing to do.

Believing in the science blinds our judgment and plays into mgmt.'s desire to survive another day imho.
Hard to call an individual who wants cancer to be cured a bad person, therefore hard to call our investment a bad choice but here we are after all these years sitting at pennies with zero info released by mgmt and that most of the time doesn't bode well for shareholders. It sure feels like the emperor doesn't have clothes on but most here are afraid to look with open eyes and rather keep their eyes shut believing solely in the science. If Dr Ashcan and Dr Liau didn't say their now famous lines in passing what would you all be hanging on to word wise from mgmt?

We'd probably hang on on (1) the blended data signed off by 60+ authors, (2) the fact that manufacturing channel is available for commercialization in the U.S. and Germany/UK (i.e. why would they spend $$$ on commercialization if they thought there was even a remote possibility of failure), (3) the confidence that bigger, Carlo Rago and others who invested significant cash and continue to do so at every opportunity and (4) the last patients enrolled in the trial were apparently placed in the treatment group but should have been in the placebo cohort. There's a lot more...but you get the gist.

By the way, Dr Ashcan and Dr Liau DID say their now famous lines. :)
