You do yourself a disservice, yielding to a negative reception posited by a single poster. This board would lose a keen mind and individual of significant professional medical work-history were you to depart for calmer waters.
You clearly grasp certain things some of us others here may not find accessible due to a lack of understanding and resultant sensitivity. I implore you to reconsider your thoughts of departure. Speaking for myself, I especially appreciate your display of dignity.
About emails not answered:
A couple of months ago I sent an email to Tim Rooney, the finance man. Shockingly to me, at least, I received a response from him in less than two hours. I posted the transaction history on this board as I was immensely pleased to have heard back so quickly. Apparently others haven't been so fortunate. That has me wondering if the tone of emails sent to Avita are openly fair and unbiased. Prior to retirement, I headed up the Investor Relations department for a traded company. Angry emails were pre-screened and not forwarded to me, but, instead, to someone lower on the totem pole. This is routine in most companies, as I understand it.
Thus, I wonder about the pitch and tone of inquiries, at least some of the time. Also, IR responsibilities can and often will be enormous and we of the retail crowd need to keep in mind that the job of IR is not like turning on a light or bringing mail to an office. Often, responses require prior discussion with corporate attorneys and the company President.
As in most situations in life, things are rarely simple.
