I'm not sure Zeev. I posted about the rumor about this employment revision and I didn't hear too many other people talking about it. Most people on this thread don't seem to be aware of it or are not commenting on it so I would think it's not "in the market."
Maybe it's just another one of those "wishful thinking" rumors from the analyst pundits and serves the purpose to allow them to distribute their shares?
I'm with you and believe the market is in for a big correction and thought the nonfarm payrolls would be the catalyst on Friday but if I were the powers that be, I would do everything I could to make (manipulate) this data positive. Think about it. The one thing that is killing George Bush is unemployment and that cannot keep getting uglier into the next election so if I were him, I would be all over how to fix it. The difference is, I would try to get to the root of the problem and he may take the short cut and see how to calculate them there numbers a bit "diferntly."
