That is called "backing away", which is illegal and they could be fined if it is an inside quote.

If you have 1 million shares to go, and the inside quote is 1 million shares to buy, and they only execute 1,000 shares. Should contact FINRA, I don't know what the fine is today, but my guess is $50,000.

That is what I was saying as the order behind, they can back away. They don't want to get caught in the bathroom or at lunch by mistake. I have had days where I ate no breakfast, no lunch, no snack and never used the restroom.

There are days when you use the bloomberg terminal looking up the gold sheets on Friday to see which team you are going to bet on. Everyday is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get. Been a few times I slept in my office.

The biz is not as glamorous as people make it out to be.
