Well, it was 24 countries (I miscounted) on 5 continents. And most all countries do have regulators to deal with for clinical trials.

Here is the trial.

I guess some like Chechia, Bolvia and Thailand might be not. But not going to look this up. The EU regulators for running trials are at the Member State level AFAIK.
