The company has said nothing about acquiring Sam's wells, but I'd bet he'd be happy to sell any of them that make him no money to the shareholders of this dead, empty company.
In answer to the question of ownership----try this --in TX there is community property---if he bot them ,, the spouse owns 50% of them---if the company bot them ((which having been through a similar situation)) the spouse is not entitled..same here in AZ----
Only a married fool would be stupid enough to buy them in his own name--is he that stupid?????
