As much as I would like it, Yates has not exactly ridden off into the sunset. This company is going nowhere, and you know it. Any moves they have made has not been for the shareholders. It has been to protect their own azz. And you know it. How does it feel to be a moderator of a board that showcases a company whose stock has gone from 2.79 to .16? Why are you giving false hopes? This company is defenseless. All of your cheerleaders NEVER has anything substantial to say, backed up by FACTS. And their future posts will prove me right again. And you know it. Why is that? Lets face it. This board has not accomplished anything, except for the naysayers like myself that have prevented more suckers from buying this POS. Nothing but big blocks of sells today. Have you noticed we are trading at .16. Let me repeat that... Scoreboard (.16)

Isn't Yates still on the board?

Isn't Yates still employed?

Doesn't Yates still hold many millions of shares of VEND stock?

Didn't Yates choose most, if not all, of the "independent" directors?

As far as I can tell, Ryan Polk is probably a decent guy, probably a straight shooter, but I don't think Yates has "ridden away into the sunset", and his influence still seems to be strong. For all we know, Yates is still calling the shots.

Also, I don't think anyone in Polk's position could be unaware of the misstatements and mischaracterizations in the company's filings. I sympathize with his position, trying to walk the tightrope of keeping the company alive long enough to recapitalize it, but it reminds me of Ken Lay and Enron - Sometimes it's better to just come clean, because otherwise you may, with only the best of intentions, make yourself part of someone else's scam.

The only chance here is if Yates were to walk away completely, with no job, no equity and no other rights. He is the one responsible for ripping the franchisees and investors off, so he's the one who should make it right. I know that won't happen, but the next best thing would be a bankruptcy where the franchisees and other creditors get a shot at taking over.

Respectively Alvie, you make it sound like he just rode into town. He's been there for 10 months, way more than enough time. I would think that a major part of righting the ship would include restoring credibility. How can you do that when the 10-K is the way it is? I just don't think the new sheriff cares. Otherwise, they would have taken their time and made sure it was right. Filing 1 day or 100 days late makes no difference.

I think NY is probably around in name only. And, I don't think that was by his choice.

The new sheriff isn't transparent...

If the new Sherif is trying to right the ship, then why aren't they allowing disclosure of all franchisee participants. I have talked to some of the franchisees that have gotten screwed out of their deposits. It seams Vend is going to great lengths to not disclose who existing franchisees are.
