I agree with you. However, do you think they will release these numbers for Wave's benefit. If they did, AMD would see them. I HIGHLY doubt Intel would allow Wave to post such a forcasted number to the public.

a) INTC most assuredly has the forecast number
b) they may or may not have shared those numbers with Wave. Since Wave is not providing any hardware that needs to be manufactured, they have no burning NEED to know those numbers.
c) Even if Wave does have the numbers, it would be suicidal to publicise those numbers -- that's an Intel perogative.

Sheesh, I have a very close contact inside Intel who hooked me up with a guy in the motherboard department who was not comfortable even telling me a total motherboard forecast, let alone a secure motherboard forecast.

This is 'close to the vest' marketing information...
