I don't think that is necessarily the entire story, though it is a compelling and powerful treatment, from what we know so far, which is still incomplete. It may be that patients have done well with Direct, but I believe the animal trials WITH checkpoint inhibitors still made the vaccine more effective, which means that there are potential tumors or cells that can hide and there would be no reason not to unmask them.
