Fung, my son has been a red belt for nearly a year (not a year of attending). Part of his problem is he lives with my ex and she is against it. Still I also had to deal with this too...
"Make" her test then offer her a testing cycle off if she promises (her instructor, not you) to resume after the 8 week break... School restarting and all that can make this just one thing too many.
