we dont even know it is cash we will get, and if yes, when we will get it. If it trades as a stock paying out a dividend, than ok, but this is not the case here. You will not be a shareholder as of 1 december and THAT is what is the condition. If you sold your CocaCola shares today and getting the dividend in two days, the shares trade ex-div and you will get your div although you wont be a shareholder as of 1 of December. I think this is a different situation we have here.
