....an agreement has been made for Merck to LEND Duffy to NWBO to help them get DCVAX-L across the finish line, with as many indications as possible. When this happens, Merck will have a sure thing, and buy NWBO for the amount LP is pushing for.

I love it. Furthermore, Merck is no stranger to large value takeovers. Back in 2009 they acquired Schering-Plough for $41 Billion. Not to shabby. I'm just wondering what LP's price will be with four RA's and manufacturing capacity ready to go.

correct, makes sense and the logic of the move in all involved parties perfect. MRK board wouldn't allow what she wants. Duffy help them reach the finish line and the deal goes thru. All we got is DCVax. Duffy can't take us to the finish line with what we have now. I mean we have no money. This is what going to be interesting how he is going to accomplish. MRK is going to chip in in the name of partnership and milestones. Why LP says million times Merck and Keytruda in the PR. How comes it is ok to MRK. Merck doesn't get any fame losing Duffy to a competitor. If they have no deals already made, this kind of PR is not possible, imo. I think we are going to get some money to launch the European combo trial Keytruda. The UCLA combo with BMY is withdrawn according to Clinicaltrials. gov. Plus it involves NIH funding. I think switching BMY CI to Keytruda in the UCLA trial is not logically possible anymore except running it as it was proposed. But with a tieup with MRK, forget it. MRK will make sure it is not going to happen. May be that's what they asked LP to start the negotiation to start with and all these Duffy move we are seeing now. MRK wants DCVax all to itself, no matter what the price tag is going to be. No consortium with BMY or other BPs. Interesting weeks ahead looks like! Cheers!!

What if Merck did what Celgene did with JUNO - buy a stake for $1B upfront and at the right time buy the whole company? The next PR could be Merck buying 10% ( 100 million shares or so and that's all left of the shelf) for $1B, valuing NWBO at $10B and once D is proven to work, gobble up the company for $XXB.

There has been enough information shared here to sniff out that DCVax is the next big thing with enough additional research. Only a few might catch on initially but those that do would most certainly be convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt. Linda and NWBO have left enough clues over time for those know what to look for.
