No , all shares I have bought show up in my account in E*TRADE and Schwab and they can’t just take them away and say that they made a mistake after taking money from me and recording those buys/trades in my account . That’s why I don’t buy that naked shorting argument , to the extent lot of Longs want to believe it . I do agree it happens and it shouldn’t , but that’s not the primary reason for our SP to be so low in my humble opinion .

manibioech, I understand (from posters here as well as form SOS) some can sell fake (naked) shares. But can any body buy fake shares, so that it can't be traced?

IMHO FAKE Shares have ALREADY been bought!

CEO Linda Powers spent a fair amount of time in early Feb 2019 at Annual Shareholders Meeting citing:
We have many individual shareholders owning over 10 MILLION shares that have NOT been DELIVERED!

The SOURCE of these Naked Shorts is IRONICALLY our Retail Shareholders!
