No no they are just not as prestigious as they once were. Used to be a top research shop (threw that in because maverick alluded to them before as a big deal when he was banking in the research and m&a field). Definitely still reputable and this trade has nothing to do with my opinion on them, as most investment banks/not specialized groups will hedge their high variance investments
