I know you understand this is not exactly news to me...I have been aware of the key three dimensional aspects which differentiate EPA from DHA and how the EPA/AA ratio sets Systemic Inflation and have made detailed explanations on this board which go back eight or so years...It is these doctors who are finally catching up....
And they still don't get a lot of the nuances...For example trig levels are mainly a refection of SI levels...as the activity of the enzyme Fatty Acid Synthase is decreased by elevated SI...SI is elevated if the EPA/AA ratio is low...Increase the EPA levels and you fix the SI problem and fix the SI problem and you fix the CVD risk problem...
It all takes place at the cell membrane level and the EPA/AA ratio is felt by every cell in the body except for red blood cells..The inflmmatory system could not work by any other mechanism...
